About Bugatti Chiron:
The Bugatti Chiron is a mid-engined two-seater sports car designed and developed in Germany by Bugatti Engineering GmbH and manufactured in Molsheim, France by the French automobile manufacturer Bugatti Automobiles SAS. The successor to the Bugatti Veyron, the Chiron was first presented at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1, 2016. The car is based on the Bugatti Vision Gran concept car Turismo.
The car is named after Monegasque driver Louis Chiron. The car shares the name of the 1999 Bugatti 18/3 Chiron concept car.
At the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, Bugatti unveiled the track version of the Chiron, dubbed Chiron Sport. Mechanically, the car is identical to the regular version, generating 1,103 kW (1,479 hp; 1,500 hp) from a four-turbocharged W16 engine, but weighs 18 kg (40 lbs) less due to heavy use of carbon fiber and has a more rigid suspension in order to increase the car's cornering ability while retaining its grand touring characteristics. Special attention has been paid to aerodynamic improvements and lightness in order to keep the car competitive on the race track.
